How to Create Custom Bootanimation in Android Device



Requirements:

  • rooted phone
  • ROM Toolbox
  • gif files in size of 480x800 - depend in your phone screen resolution {small resolution will do}
    sample 1

Step Guide

  1. Backup First in CWM Recovery mode
  2. install ROM Toolbox apk open then Grant permission in SuperSU
  3. create or download bootanimation in GIF form {see: sample 1} then place it your SDcard - mnt/sdcard/roomtoolbox/boot_animations/ folder -
  4. goto interface then Boot Animations then Local
    Note: some phone need to save old bootanimation  for warranty purposes
    1. - press menu button then, select Backup/Restore
      1. - select backup - to save original copy of bootanimation
      2. - Select restore - only if you have done step .1 backup
    2. - Done
  5. goto your GIF file that you want to convert to bootanimation
  6. tick your gif file "droidxko1.gif" then select GIF to Boot Animation {see sample img below}
  7. you must know value of  FPS of your  gif, if not just tick Auto Detect FPS box then click OK

  8. Wait until Decoding GIF and Creating the Boot Animation
  9. then Click Ok
  10. Check your bootanimation just click droidxko1.zip

    1. Preview - to Check if your animation work well?
    2. Install  - to place your custom bootanimation in your phone startup
  11. Done
